Stainless Steel Electric Kettle – No plastic touches the water!

This Secura Electric Water Kettle has a seamless stainless steel interior, stainless rim, lid & spout. In my search I found mostly steel with a little plastic or silicone either in the base, lid, reservoir level, spout, etc. Plastic leaches most when it’s under stress, for example boiling water & steam.

There may be other plastic free electric kettles, but this was the only one I found that I was ok buying. If you found another, let me know & I can update this post with a list of truly plastic free electric kettles. The other I would have liked, but I can’t get it easily in the USA is the Ottoni Fabbrica electric kettle.

Been using this daily for a few months now. It holds 1.7 Liter/ 1.8 Quart & bring water to a boil very quickly. Pours great & no rust issues at all. Never noticed any odd taste with the water. The electric cord is very generous at 2 feet 11 inches & you can wrap the excess you don’t need under the base.
